IT’S HAPPY HOUR: RAINBOW EDITION

Log off of Zoom and head to the kitchen because as soon as the clock hits 5, it’s happy hour! June is Pride Month, and we can’t think of a better reason to celebrate by trying this delicious candy drink recipe. At Dylan’s Candy Bar, we believe all you need is love, rainbows and candy (ok, and maybe cocktails…) all year round! Our Sip The Rainbow Cocktail combines some of our favorite flavors in gorgeous rainbow layers for an Insta-worthy, totally festive drink. Try our rainbow rum cocktail recipe, raise your glasses and be sure to tag us @dylanscandybar when you show off your bartending skills!

Sip The Rainbow Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 oz. of Grenadine
  • 1 oz. Orange Juice
  • ½ oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz. of Coconut Rum
  • .25 oz. of Lime Juice
  • Ice
  • Blue Curacao
  • Pea Tea Leaf Simple

GARNISH:

  • Gumballs
  • Rainbow Sour belts
  • Rainbow Gummy Bears

HOW TO:

  1. Pour grenadine into glass, letting it pool at the bottom for the first layer.
  2. Pour orange juice, pineapple juice, coconut rum and lime juice into shaker.
  3. Add ice to highball glass.
  4. Add ice to shaker, shake and carefully float into glass on top of the grenadine Float the Blue Curacao, which will settle between the grenadine and juice.
  5. Float the Pea Tea Leaf Simple for the top layer.
  6. Let it sit for a moment to allow all of the layers to settle.
  7. Garnish with rainbow sour belts, gumballs or gummy bears!
